The removal of the Indians from the American Southeast in what has become known as the Trail of Tears
A) was ruled a legal action by the Worcester v. Georgia decision
B) resulted in the relocation of the Indians to reservations in South Dakota
C) while harsh, caused virtually no loss of life to the Indians involved
D) followed the passage by Congress of the Indian Removal Act in 1830
E) was agreed to by all the Cherokees, who were united in thinking it was more pragmatic to agree to leave in exchange for money and other concession
